EMELIE ÖSTERLÖF

Founder | Principal Designer

Born and raised in Sweden | Been living in Spain since 2006 | Examination in Project Management & Interior Design in 2010

Emelie is the founder and principal designer for the interior design studio “Nordic Delight by Emelie Interiors.” With more than 10 years of experience in the Spanish property market, Emelie brings a wealth of knowledge about real estate and rentals. Since 2016, she has focused her attention on interior design and project management, making her a true expert in her field. She is a versatile designer with experience in designing both interior and exterior.

Except from the work within interior design and project management, one of her key responsibilities is handling the client contact and visiting new clients homes. She ensures that clients’ needs and preferences are fully understood so that the team of Nordic Delight can provide an unparalleled level of service. Emelie’s strong project management skills enable her to manage every aspect of a project from conception to completion. She is fluent in Spanish, English and Swedish, and therefor able to communicate effectively with builders and all other parties that are involved in each project.

Whether she is managing accounts or dealing with suppliers, Lidia is an essential part of our team – reliable, efficient, and committed to providing the very best service for our clients.

Born in Poland and raised in Germany | Lived in Nerja since 2003 | Fluent in English, Spanish, German and Polish

Annelie is an exceptional project manager at our interior design studio. She brings a creative edge to our team by designing unique concepts for our clients. Annelie takes a collaborative approach to working with clients, understanding their needs, and bringing their visions to life. She can handle multiple projects with ease, ensuring that each project is delivered within the set timelines and budgets.

Project Manager

Born in Sweden | Been living in UK for 7 years before she moved to Spain 2019 | Fluent in English and Swedish

Meet Karolina, our dedicated logistics expert who makes sure every interior design project runs smoothly throughout the process. She has a keen eye for detail and a passion for organization, ensuring that all furniture, fixtures, and equipment are delivered and installed on time and with the utmost care. Karolina collaborates closely with our design team to ensure that everything fits perfectly into the space and is arranged to create the desired ambiance.

Born in Sweden | Been living in countries such as Greece, Thailand, Cyprus, and now Spain | Fluent in English and Swedish

Meet Evelina, one of the interior designers at our interior design studio. With her eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, she transforms spaces into beautiful, functional works of art. Evelina is the first person you meet when visiting our shop. She also takes care of our social media presence, showcasing our latest design projects. She is giving you a look at our creative process, while sharing photographs that truly capture the essence of our design.

Our Philosophy

Timeless and natural elements are key features of our design philosophy which is about creating a space that withstands the test of time while being in harmony with the enviroment. It is an approach that values natural materials, textures and colors that create a serene and inviting space that enhances the well-being of the occupants.

In this design approach, you will find a focus on using sustainable materials such as wood, stone and clay to bring in a sense of warmth and comfort to the space. Plants, flowers, and other natural elements are incorporated to bring in a sense of nature and tranquility.

The colors used in this design approach are subdued and earthy, creating a feeling of calmness and relaxation. The lighting is soft, warm and natural, enhancing the ambiance of the space.

Opening of ‘Nordic Delight by Emelie Interiors’ – A combined interior design studio / furniture and decor shop at Av. de Pescia 9 in Nerja, Malaga.
